Strange nightly landscapes make space for ghosts. Statues become alive ... A film, which deals with the inbetween space between mysticism and phantasy, a little bit creepy, a little funny. Erwin is an expert. Nobody knows holes like he does. He identifies them where others only see a stain, he detects life-threatening condition which an amateur overlooks in ignorance. At least in his reality. The reality of his girlfriend looks strikingly different. Especially when both of them are invited to a dinner. Here Erwin is treated unsympathetically when he tries to convince the hosts that a perceived stain on the wall is in fact a dangerous hole. Who is owning reality anyway? And how dangerous can such a hole actually be? (...)

About the Competition
The competition took place from 1 till 30th of April 2013 and incuded 14 short films, matching our selection criteria: No Money - films made without a budget; No Mumbling - films without dialogue or narration; No Music - films without a music score; No Montage - films made without editing, i.e. filmed in one shot.
We received about 700 applications from around the world, but chose subjects which seemed to be the most interesting and original: a single shot unexpected meeting with a slightly inadequate old school fan (15 Summers Later); a difficult journey of a bug up the tiled wall (Markus); the story of selfless struggle of the young German with invisible but deadly black holes (For it is dark in the hole); a reportage on the crash of crimson in an amusement park somewhere in a parallel dimension (Exland); a documentary about the owner of the last of its kind porn theater from the late 80s (Mr. Siebzehnruebl); a touching sketch of a young man trying unsuccessfully to make friends with neighbors on a bench in the park (Bigfoot), experimental animation about a mad dance of polite gestures (YesYesYesYesYesYesYesYesYesYesYes); the incredible adventures of a boy in a hairdressing salon (Shampooing); a bitter confession by panda, who always wanted to be something else (I Always Dreamed About Being a Robot) ...
