Alban Ravassard 

Alban Ravassard was born in 1985. He is a French assistant-director and short movies screenwriter and director. He wrote and directed around 10 short movies screened in national and international festivals and won a couple of prizes.

In 2009 he graduates as assistant-director from a private cinema school in Paris (ESEC).

In 2010, he participates to the first edition of the Locarno Film Festival Academy, which contributes to the emergence of new cinematographic talents. Then, he contributes to the foundation of L’Atelier 321 a French director’s collective.

In 2012, he is working as second assistant-director and then first assistant-director on the performance capture shooting of the video game Beyond, Two Souls developed by Quantic Dream, starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.

In 2013, he participates at a writing marathon, taking place during the screenwriters’ international festival in Valence (France) and is working as chief programmer of short movies at the Korean Film Festival in Paris.

He is now developing his first produced short movie entitled The Call and is currently writing his first feature.
